It was the Catholic Church, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, who selected among the many books, the ones that were inspired of God. It used Sacred Tradition as criteria to determine if a book was in agreement with the Deposit of Truth that Christ originally taught to His apostles.
Everything in the Bible MUST conform to Catholic beliefs because it was the Catholic Church who canonized the Bible based on its beliefs!
